The Correctional Management & Communications Group, LLC (CMCG) is a privately owned company managed by a team of highly experienced and skilled corrections and law enforcement professionals. Our corrections operation program inspection and review process identifies operational, performance, and functional area defects directly contributing to facility operational weaknesses or performance failures associated with the provision of safe, secure, and humane conditions of confinement. We focus on operational, performance, and functional area defects which may constitute violations of a pre-trial prisoner's constitutional rights (4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, and 14th Amendments).
We seek deterrence through recognition and immediate, strong actions to enforce accountability. Implementation of consequential responses (positive and negative), tiered approaches to avoid repetition, deliberate indifference, fear to perform, and negate peer influence. We help correctional facilities mitigate risk through corrective action plans (CAPs) based on sound correctional practices that result in durable, sustainable, and permanent resolutions to identified defects. Our approach leverages coaching, training, mentorship, engaged feedback, surveys, and performance outcome measures.
